Hi, I'm Dakotah Huey
A software engineer slinging code out of the Lone Star State
About Me
Backend development is my jam, with Node.js as my bread and butter. While
I can hold my own on the frontend (un-centered divs stand no chance
against me), I find the most joy in building the engines that power
applications.
In my free time, you can find me deep-diving into old-school MMORPGs while
downing my third iced vanilla latte of the day or
getting lost
on adventures with my camera and supervisor (wife). Science fiction films
are pretty cool, too. Except for Star Wars.
What can I do for you?
While I'm always eager to broaden my horizons, I've spent quality time
with these tools
and technologies:
- TypeScript/JavaScript
- React (NextJS, Redux, Router)
- Prisma
- GraphQL
- Apollo Server
- Express
- Kafka
- Redis
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Postgres
- Electron
- Python
- HTML
- CSS
- AGILE
